Coneflowers at Twilight

Description

The purple coneflower is native to my state of Maryland in the US. Thriving through mid-Atlantic summers and returning every year even after hard winters, this flower is vital to the lives of pollinators. Because of its beauty and significance, this flower has become a symbol in the region and appears in gardens and landscapes often. I hope to honor the beauty and resilience of this pillar of Maryland ecology. This piece features vibrant pink coneflowers standing in contrast to their green foliage, completed in 2025.
